This was for an assignment we had to do in my Pre-Animation Course. We were supposed to choose an art style or artist's work that spoke to us and emulate it as best we could.
The teacher recommended that we take atleast four or five tries to get it right, but I took over fifteen. @~@ I just couldn't get the face to look the way I wanted to. I gotta say, after doing this project, I have a whole new respect for M. Alice Legrowe and her work. Yeah... so I hope it's okay. Of course, I appreciate any critique but I'm really hoping that Marty will let me know what she thinks of my attempt at recreating the Bizenghast style. I seriously tried HARD on this project and I want to know it paid off... I know my drawing is a little chubby, kinda cartoony compared to her dainty lolita dollfie styles characters but I think I got it... sorta... *sighs* Head Shot Here: [link] Style of  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
