Description
Here it is~! A contest entry! This’ll be my second deviantart contest and my frist MattxMello/DN artwork up.
The point of the contest was to draw the moment Matt and Mello first met, and I thought about it, and for some reason, I really LOVE the bus stop thing. Very romantic and cute without being too upfront. Me and my friends brainstormed about how we could use the ‘bus stop’ idea to make a cute first meeting between these two and one came up with letting one hold up an umbrella for the other, then we all debated over which one would be the cuter one to hold it up for the other, and settled on Mello, so long as he had a “you’re so pathetic” look on his face.
I edited it on the computer to make the pic seem more blue than it really is, you know, to make you feel the rain, and the rest I did with pencils ‘cos I’m really good with those badboys. xD
Oh! And I added the red on their cheeks and noses… the only coloured part of the pic. ^____^ I don’t know why I did it, I just felt like the pic was missing something.
Btw- Matt’s holding a gameboy, if you were wondering what that is…

Cute! Someone already pointed out the blush standing out, but I like it too! I imagine if Mello was in a relationship he would want to do nice things for his partner but wouldn't want to seem too lovely dovey XD
